Frequently Asked Questions
Is the initial consultation really free?
Yes. Completely free. No credit card, no obligation. We review your case, answer your questions, and give you our honest assessment.
How long do I have to file a claim in California?
Generally 2 years from the date of injury under California Code of Civil Procedure § 335.1. For claims against government entities, you have only 6 months to file a government tort claim. Missing these deadlines can bar your claim (a late-claim application under Gov. Code section 911.4 may be available within one year) — contact us immediately if you are approaching a deadline.
What if I can't come to your office?
No problem. We handle consultations by phone, video call, or in-person at your location if you are unable to travel due to your injuries. We come to you.
Do you handle cases outside San Diego?
Yes. We handle personal injury cases throughout all of California and Guam. We are a statewide firm, not a local-only practice.
